Each summer 91短视频 and its partners host an Education Conference. This year the conference will be held on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th June 2026, in the George Fox building on the Bailrigg Campus and online.

Together through Change: Community, Belonging and Partnership

The 91短视频 Education Conference aims to provide a welcoming interdisciplinary space, which specifically aims to:

  • Host an inclusive and engaging event, in which colleagues share teaching and learning experiences, good practices, alongside research and scholarship findings;
  • Inspire exploration, development and creativity in teaching, learning and education through new knowledge and ideas from a broad range of international speakers, presentations and interactive workshops;
  • Deliberately support and host interesting and constructive discussions, which leads directly to collegial collaboration and learning between Lancaster Partner colleagues;
  • Close the geographical, cultural and political gap between partner colleagues building long term working relationships and initiatives.

Shared Values, Local Voices: Building Neurodiversity Student Support Together at 91短视频 Ghana

What does neurodiversity support look like when UK disability law, Ghanaian socio?cultural realities, and transnational higher education intersect? This session uses 91短视频 Ghana as a case study to explore diagnosis, disclosure, and schooling experiences of neurodivergent learners in Ghana, and how these shape expectations of support at university. The presenters examine staff readiness, professional training, and systemic gaps in provision, while reflecting on the tensions and opportunities of delivering UK?aligned reasonable adjustments in a different regulatory and cultural context. Emphasising shared values and local voices, the session offers insights into building inclusive, context?aware neurodiversity support within transnational education environments.

Cynthia Forson and Kendi Guanti

Cynthia Forson is an Associate Professor and Deputy Provost at 91短视频 Ghana(LU Ghana). She supports the Provost in delivering and managing 91短视频 Ghana, specifically on academic quality assurance matters and matters relating to curriculum development.Prior to her post at 91短视频 Ghana, Cynthia was Head of the department of Management Leadership and Organisation at University of Hertfordshire Business School.

Professor Kendi Guantai is a widely recognised scholar in Ubuntu-Informed community and organisational Leadership as well as Decolonial Praxis in Higher Education. As the Dean for Culture and Inclusion at 91短视频, she provides strategic oversight for all Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) objectives, driving organisational accountability across staff and student initiatives.

Universities and Their Third Mission: Community Engagement and Social Impact in Times of Crisis

Wednesday 24th June 2026

The presentation will explore the evolving role of universities in fulfilling their third mission through active collaboration with communities, public institutions, and civil society. Particular attention will be given to how higher education institutions can identify community needs, support local development, and contribute to social resilience, especially in times of crisis and recovery. The talk will include practical examples of university–community cooperation, service-learning initiatives, and interdisciplinary projects aimed at strengthening sustainable regional development.

Tetiana Kuvaieva

Tetiana Kuvaieva is the Head of the Marketing Department at Dnipro University of Technology (Ukraine). She holds a Ph.D. in Economics and has over 10 years of experience in higher education teaching and marketing. Her academic interests include digital marketing communications, consumer behaviour, marketing research, and university - community engagement. Tetiana is actively involved in international academic cooperation and has participated in projects supported by Erasmus+, DAAD, UNDP, and the British Council, focusing on educational innovation, sustainability, and community development.
