Cartmel Accommodation

Cartmel Accommodation

We offer bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms.

Our accommodation sits in southwest of the University campus, Alexandra Park, a short 10-15minute walk to the centre of campus.

The houses are named after villages surrounding the village of Cartmel in Cumbria that edges the Lake District National Park.

In 2004 the college was relocated from the north to the south west of campus surrounding giving the college the largest social space on campus. From 2016 the accommodation blocks (632rooms) have been refurbished giving kitchens comfortable seating areas. All Cartmel houses (46-56) have ensuite shower rooms and house between 7/8 students in each flat.

When numbers of fresher applicants are high, we do extend into houses that boarder Cartmel so the students are still close to the centre of College, Barker House Farm. These houses are shared rooms and house between 6-9 students in a flat they differ from the images shown in the gallery.

All accommodation is non-smoking.
